Fashion Designer From Toledo, OH Returns Home To Reflect, Celebrate


On Saturday, August 21, 2010 the DorrSecor Neighborhood will host "Reconnect: 2010" Reminisce. Reflect. Reconnect" at The Park Inn Hotel (1010 North Summit Ave.) in Toledo,OH with the mission of bringing attention to the area's incredible past and those who have come from the area and made its success possible. As part of the program, Toledo, OH native (now resident of Jackson,MS) Gail Rayford-Ambeau will host her first fashion show in the city, thanks to the help of Kel-Roz Productions.

"It feels good to not only be coming home," says Gail, "but to showcase what I have been able to do with the gifts I first discovered in Toledo."

Since leaving the state, Gail has been active promoting her visual artwork and making her mark as a fashion designer with not only talent but passion. She's been featured in publications and events across the country, working with celebrities as well as everyday individuals who are looking to make a statement. She is also the host of her own weekly radio show called FASHION FORWARD on Conversations LIVE where she gives fashion tips and interview individuals who share her passion for fashion, interviewing such notables as Will from Day 26, rising Island Def Jam star Abraham McDonald, movie star Necoye Banks and fashion designers Chris March and Laura Bennett from Project Runway.

The event in Toledo will be an opportunity for Gail to not only reconnect with those from her past but share with them her vision for the present and future.
