In case you have missed the exciting updates made to The Write Stuff website at http://www.thewritestufftv.com since the last newsletter, here is your brief recap of what has been going on with the growing literary organization.
* NEW WEBISODES OF THE WRITE STUFF: Host Cyrus Webb interviewed authors Electa Rome Parks and Mr. Mean Mug during their visits to Mississippi in March and April 2010. You can find their interviews on the site. For pictures from the visits, go to http://www.thebestbookclub.info . In May 2010, Webb will interview Dr. Diane Hassan, author of ANGELS AMONG US...EVEN IN IRAQ during her visit to Mississippi.
* "Conference Call Conversations" Tour begins in May 2010: Shadow Play Entertainment has gathered over a dozen authors who are "touring" the country this Spring and Summer without even leaving their homes! It's called "Conference Call Conversations" and groups as well as authors can schedule tour stops now with any of those participating. Visit http://www.conversationstour.com for details.
* 2ND ANNUAL NATIONAL DAY OF READING SET: You are encouraged to join us for the Second Annual National Day of Reading hosted by Shadow Play Entertainment and The Write Stuff Literacy Campaign. The date is Saturday, November 20, 2010. Make sure to mark your calendar and join us in encouraging the importance of reading. Last year, we held events all across the country. This year we hope to get every state involved in an event. Got ideas on what you want to do or have suggestions? Email Cyrus Webb at cawebb4@juno.com.
* UPDATES FOR CONVERSATIONS BOOK CLUB: Make sure to visit http://www.thebestbookclub.info to see the exciting updates at Conversations Book Club's website.
* CONVERSATIONS LIVE RADIO RECOGNIZED: We found out not long ago that our radio program Conversations LIVE! is one of the top internet programs available on Blogtalkradio.com with tens of thousands of listeners each week. Host Cyrus Webb has been on the radio for almost 7 years, but brought his show to Blogtalkradio in 2008 with incredible results. In 2010 alone has intervewed over 100 movers and shakers---with more scheduled. Missed any? Visit http://www.conversationsliveradio.com .
Year Two of The Write Stuff Literacy Campaign is proving to be just as exciting and productive as the first. Make sure to bookmark the site and check it often for updates.
